1. Who writes
Content is published by The LongHorn Menu Guide editorial team. There is no named first-person diner persona and no borrowed restaurant-staff identities. Bylines stay organizational unless a real person is named on About with the same identity sitewide.
2. Price and menu claims
Prices are labeled with a verification month (currently August 2026) and, when the site already documents those markets, notes from Atlanta, Dallas, and Orlando checks. When markets disagree, pages show ranges or qualitative notes — not a single national “official” price. Methods: methodology.
3. What we will not publish
- Fabricated testimonials, server quotes, or star ratings
- Unverifiable travelogues (“I ate in 12 states”) or invented state-by-state dollar prices
- Review or AggregateRating structured data unless reviews are collected on this site
- Claims of affiliation with LongHorn Steakhouse or Darden Restaurants
4. Comparisons
Side-by-side tables versus Texas Roadhouse and Outback use publicly listed menu prices and commonly observed service differences. They are editorial judgments for diners, dated when prices are shown, not lab tests.
5. AI assistance
Drafting tools may help with outlines or copy editing. Published pages are checked against the menu data files and verification notes in this repo. AI is not used to invent receipts, quotes, or ratings.
6. Corrections
Send a dated receipt or official order screenshot via corrections or contact. Material fixes get an updated date on the page.
